On July 28 and 29, Pedro González Island, in the Las Perlas archipelago, will be the stage for the Panama Fishing and Yacht Club fishing tournament, in commemoration of its 62-year foundation.
The competition that will distribute more than 100 thousand dollars between cash and prizes, will have the participation of approximately 50 boats and 250 fishermen.
The tournament will take place in the categories, open, Yacht Club and Fishing Club, ladies and children, will reward the species such as Dorado, Tuna, Pargo, Bojalá, Sierra, Wahoo and Pez Peak in the capture and release mode.
Mario Julio Alcedo chairman of the board said that the tournament seeks to encourage recreation and healthy competition in the middle of the family union, always emphasizing responsible fishing, in a sport that in recent years has taken a big boom in the country.
The departure to the competition will be on July 28, the ports of Yacht Club and Fishing, Diablo Spinning Club, Marina Pearl Island, Flamenco and La Playita de Amador, the corresponding weighings will be both days of competition until 5:30 Pm, at Marina Pearl Island, the event’s awards will be held on August 3 at the Yacht and Fishing Club.
El próximo 28 y 29 de julio la isla Pedro González, en el archipiélago de Las Perlas, será el escenario para la realización del torneo de pesca del Club de Yates y Pesca de Panamá, en conmemoración de sus 62 años de fundación.
La competición que repartirá más de 100 mil dólares entre efectivo y premios, contará con la participación de un aproximado de 50 botes y 250 pescadores.
El torneo se desarrollará en las categorías, abierta, Copa Club de Yates y Pesca, damas y niños, premiará las especies como: Dorado, Tuna, Pargo, Bojalá, Sierra, Wahoo y Pez Pico en la modalidad de captura y liberación.
Mario Julio Alcedo presidente de la junta directiva, manifestó que, el torneo busca incentivar el esparcimiento y la sana competencia en medio de la unión familiar, destacando siempre la pesca deportiva responsable, en un deporte que en los últimos años ha tomado un gran auge en el país.
La salida a la competencia será el día 28 de julio, de los puertos de Club de Yates y Pesca, Diablo Spinning Club, Marina Pearl Island, Flamenco y La Playita de Amador, los pesajes correspondientes serán ambos días de competencia hasta las 5:30 p.m., en la Marina Pearl Island, la premiación del evento se realizará el 3 de agosto en el Club de Yates y Pesca.
