And is that the Latin American Alliance of Tourist Journalists thanks in this way support tourism Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.

«I am very proud to receive a medal like this, because when people say tourism they think of beach or hiking, but Apodaca is a great city that has everything to welcome tourists, especially those interested in knowing different cultures and the industry «, he mentioned when receiving his recognition in the hands of the Director of the Alliance, Jesus Coronado Sifuentes.

The recognition was granted for the great work done by the municipality and his team during the National Queen Tourism Mexico 2017 Contest, held in Apodaca.

«The greatness of Apodaca spread word of mouth during the 14 days the girls were in our city, so much so that the participants have returned with their families and one of them, to change their place of residence to study there,» he said in his speech during the ceremony held in Mexico City.

Aurora Macillas, representative of San Luis Potosí and current Reina Turismo was crowned as the Queen of Tourist Journalists.

The event included media representatives from Honduras, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Panama, the Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela, as well as the Director of the Queen Tourism Mexico National Contest, Alberto Roque.

Durante la Ceremonia del Premio Internacional del Periodismo Turístico “Pasaporte Abierto”, el Alcalde Oscar Cantú García, recibió un reconocimiento para el Municipio de Apodaca en la categoría de “Promotor Turístico”.

Y es que la Alianza Latinoamericana de Periodistas Turísticos agradece de esta manera el apoyo al turismo de Apodaca, Nuevo León.

“Estoy muy orgulloso de recibir una presea como esta, porque cuando la gente dice turismo piensa en playa o en senderismo, pero Apodaca es una gran ciudad que tiene todo para recibir a los turistas, sobre todo a aquellos interesados en conocer diferentes culturas y la industria”, mencionó al recibir su reconocimiento en manos del Director de la Alianza, Jesús Coronado Sifuentes.

El reconocimiento se otorgó por el gran trabajo que realizó el munícipe y su equipo de trabajo durante la realización del Certamen Nacional Reina Turismo México 2017, celebrado en Apodaca.

“La grandeza de Apodaca se corrió de boca en boca durante los 14 días que estuvieron las chicas en nuestra ciudad, tanto que las participantes han regresado con sus familias y una de ellas, hasta cambio su lugar de residencia para estudiar allá”, dijo en su discurso durante la ceremonia realizada en Ciudad de México.

Aurora Macillas, representante de San Luis Potosí y actual Reina Turismo fue coronada como la Reina de los Periodistas Turísticos.

En el evento estuvieron representantes de medios de comunicación de Honduras, Brasil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Panamá, República Dominicana, Uruguay y Venezuela, además del Director del Certamen Nacional Reina Turismo México, Alberto Roque.
