For the second consecutive year, the Tourism Authority, ATP, will participate in the Christmas Parade organized by the Mayor’s Office of Panama, which will take place next Sunday, December 10 at the Cinta Costera, from 5 pm, with the theme of Christmas carols .
«Tamborilero» will be the allegorical trolley of the ATP that will fill with magic and illusion Panamanian children, along with the participation of the queen of the carnival of Panama «One Country in Party 2018», Yanidia Leyanis Maure Jaureguizar, and her two princesses Natasha Lineth Vargas Moreno and Leydis Maybeth González Rivas.
In addition, the Tourism Authority is also a sponsor of the Christmas lighting in the Calzada de Amador, as part of the project «Brilla La Navidad» of the Mayor’s Office that this year has coverage in 18 points of the city.
The illumination allusive to the Christmas season in this site of great tourist interest – boarding from the Biomuseo to Perico Island – will be all the month of December from 6 in the afternoon for the enjoyment of nationals and tourists.
Additionally, the entity will present every weekend a platform of shows in the playground of Isla Perico, with Christmas music, Christmas carols and shows alluding to the time.
This platform will be running on December 9, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 29 and 30, from 6 in the evening until 10 at night.
Enrique Sanchez, director of Marketing of the ATP, invited both tourists and residents to share with family and friends of the traditional Christmas parade, and at the same time they can visit the different parks in which the Mayor has atmosphere of the time.
The points of the city that are part of the City Hall’s lighting project are: the Cinta Costera, Sabores del Chorrillo, Plaza Catedral, Plaza Francia, Plaza Bolívar, Plaza Herrera, Santa Ana Park, Plaza Porras, Parque Heliodoro Patiño in Juan Day, Manuel Espinosa Batista Avenue, Federico Boyd Avenue, the Calzada de Amador children’s playground, Urracá Park, Costanera Avenue, Francisco Arias Paredes Park, Ecuador Avenue and entrance hall to the Casco Antiguo.
Por segundo año consecutivo, la Autoridad de Turismo, ATP, participará del Desfile de Navidad organizado por Alcaldía de Panamá, que se realizará el próximo domingo 10 de diciembre en la Cinta Costera, desde las 5 de la tarde, con la temática de villancicos navideños.
“Tamborilero” será el carro alegórico de la ATP que llenará de magia e ilusión a la niñez panameña, junto con la participación de la reina del carnaval de Panamá “Un País en Fiesta 2018”, Yanidia Leyanis Maure Jaureguizar, y sus dos princesas Natasha Lineth Vargas Moreno y Leydis Maybeth González Rivas.
Además, la Autoridad de Turismo también es patrocinador del alumbrado navideño en la Calzada de Amador, como parte del proyecto “Brilla La Navidad” de la Alcaldía que este año tiene cobertura en 18 puntos de la ciudad.
La iluminación alusiva a la temporada navideña en este sitio de gran interés turístico -abarcando desde el Biomuseo hasta Isla Perico- será todo el mes de diciembre desde las 6 de la tarde para el disfrute de nacionales y turistas.
Adicional, la entidad presentará todos los fines de semana una tarima de espectáculos en el parque infantil de Isla Perico, con ambientación de música navideña, villancicos y shows alusivos a la época.
Esta tarima estará funcionando los días 9, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 29 y 30 de diciembre, a partir de las 6 de la tarde hasta las 10 de la noche.
Enrique Sánchez, director de Mercadeo de la ATP, invitó tanto a turistas como residentes a compartir en familia y amigos del tradicional desfile de Navidad, y a la vez que puedan visitar los diferentes parques en los que la Alcaldía tiene ambiente de la época.
Los puntos de la ciudad que forman parte del proyecto de alumbrado de la Alcaldía, son: la Cinta Costera, Sabores del Chorrillo, Plaza Catedral, Plaza Francia, Plaza Bolívar, Plaza Herrera, Parque Santa Ana, Plaza Porras, parque Heliodoro Patiño en Juan Día, Avenida Manuel Espinosa Batista, Avenida Federico Boyd, parque infantil de la Calzada de Amador, Parque Urracá, avenida Costanera, parque Francisco Arias Paredes, Avenida Ecuador y glorieta de ingreso al Casco Antiguo.
