The Festival of Performing Arts Foundation, FAE, organizer of the 8th International Festival of Performing Arts – Panama 2018, has announced that the new dates of the event will be from 9 to 14 March, six days during which it will offer our city a great party with the best of theater and contemporary dance in the world, in partnership with the Mayor’s Office of Panama.
The FAE 18 will be more compact than in previous years, due in large part to the lack of input from government entities that have sponsored it since its inception, however, the level of the festival remains and the programming confirmed at the moment will have the high quality that characterizes the FAE since its first edition in 2004, this time in the hands of relevant groups from Brazil, Spain, the United States, Mexico and Uruguay, and specialists and teachers from Argentina, Cuba, the United Kingdom and Uruguay.
A selection of national works completes the program of shows, and complements the universe of the festival its social and educational segments, free or at low cost, such as The Festival invites neighborhood schools, workshops, lectures and master classes FAE Training Lab and the FAE arrives at the Cinta Costera, for the whole family on Sunday 11. La Fundación Festival de Artes Escénicas, FAE, organizadora del 8° Festival Internacional de Artes Escénivas – Panamá 2018, ha anunciado que las nuevas fechas del evento serán del 9 al 14 de marzo, seis días durante los que ofrecerá a nuestra ciudad una gran fiesta cultural con lo mejor del teatro y la danza contemporánea del mundo, en alianza con la Alcaldía de Panamá.
El FAE 18 estará más compacto que en años anteriores, debido en gran parte al no aporte de entidades gubernamentales que lo han patrocinado desde sus inicios, sin embargo, el nivel del festival se mantiene y la programación confirmada al momento contará con la alta calidad que caracteriza al FAE desde su primera edición en 2004, en esta ocasión de la mano de relevantes agrupaciones de Brasil, España, Estados Unidos, México y Uruguay, y especialistas y maestros de Argentina, Cuba , Reino Unido y Uruguay.
Una selección de obras nacionales completa el programa de espectáculos, y complementan el universo del festival sus segmentos sociales y formativos, gratuitos o a bajo costo, tales como El Festival invita a las escuelas del barrio, los talleres, conversatorios y clases maestras del Lab Formativo FAE y el FAE llega a la Cinta Costera, para toda la familia el domingo 11.
