Ya de dio a conocer que los artistas Samy y Sandra Sandoval, se estarán presentando en el gran cierre del Pride Panamá en el marco del «Festival si hay amor, hay familia», a llevarse a cabo el sábado 30 de junio en el Parque V Centenario.
Los Patrones de la Cumbia, quien siempre han tenido un gran apoyo de la población LGBTI de Panamá, se
suman a este festival que tiene como propósito de visibilizar los aportes de la Población LGBTI en Panamá, la importancia de garantizar sus derechos humanos y sumarnos a la Conmemoración Mundial de los disturbios provocados por el abuso y la homofobia en la Discoteca Stonewall en New York, en 1969, y que inician el movimiento de liberación de la Comunidad LGBTI, este año, celebramos el Festival “Si hay Amor, hay Familia”.
Este festival marca las principales actividades del Pride Panamá 2018, que inicia el lunes 25 de junio y culmina el sábado 30 de junio con la Marcha del Orgullo LGBTI desde las 4:00 pm en el Parque V Centenario, recorre el Casco Antiguo de Panamá y termina en su inicio.
Este año, cuenta con la participación de Gabriela Gnazzo, comunicadora social y actriz nacional e internacional, como su abanderada.
Adicionalmente, todo el mes de junio será para la promoción de la inclusión y no discriminación, con incentivos como el Pasaporte Pride, que incluye excelentes descuentos en más de 50 comercios LGBTI Friendly del Casco Antiguo, así como Pop Art de artistas panameños / as en cuatro lugares públicos.

Finalmente, es importante destacar que, por primera vez, el Pride Panamá, incorpora actividades académicas que buscan contribuir con las Políticas Públicas que contribuyan a mejorar la calidad de vida de la comunidad, lideradas por 35 expositores/as comprometidos/as con la educación y el empoderamiento de las poblaciones más vulnerables y tradicionalmente excluidas por prejuicios y estereotipos arraigados.
